ESC au démarrage : discard splash screen

éléments d'interface :

La **fenêtre blender** est divisée en différentes **Areas** contenant chacun un **editor**.

Les editors sont divisés en un **header** et 0 à plusieurs **régions**.

Les **régions** contiennes diverses plus petits éléments structurants comme des **panels**.

Une composition de différents **Areas** avec des editors prédéfinis est appelé **screen layout**.

**Pinning** : Dans le **toolshelf region**, il est possible de pinner des panels pour qu'ils apparaissent quelque soit le tab ouvert.

==== Arranging Frames ====

La fenêtre Blender est séparée en différents **frames** (window frames).

Chacune des **frames** est un espace de travail (**workspace**) pour un type particulier de fenêtre, comme une 3D view, ou un Outliner.

Un des caractère de ces fenêtres est qu'elles ne se superposent jamais (non-overlapping).

^View->Toggle full screen (présent dans le **header** d'un **editor**)|permet de switcher sur l'editor en plein écran|

^Drag editor corner(**splitter**)|split/merge editor|
Si l'on drag le corner vers l'intérieur de l'éditor, celui-ci se splitte de manière horizontale ou verticale.
Si l'on drag vers l'extérieur, en direction d'un editor de même taille dans la direction de merge, le second s'assombri pour indiquer qu'il va disparaitre suite au merge. Pour que ce soit l'editor de départ qui disparaisse, ramener le curseur sur celui-ci.

^CTRL+LMB sur splitter| permet d'échanger les contenus de deux regions|

^MAJ+LMB sur splitter + drag|ouverture d'une nouvelle fenêtre blender avec la région du splitter|

==== Window Headers ====

Les window **headers** sont aussi appellés window **ToolBar**.

Hide/show header
|clic (en bas du header) + drag (en haut du header)|cacher le header|
|clic sur petit plus en l'absence d'un header|montrer le header|

changer la position d'un header : clic droit + clic sur option pertinente dans le menu contextuel qui s'affiche.

changer de type d'outil (**editor**) : clic sur le premier bouton à gauche du header + sélection du nouveau type d'**editor**

==== Screens ====

Les **screens** sont des **modèles d'environnement** de travail adaptés à la tâche en cours (animation, compositing, etc.).

On peut les sélectionner depuis l'**info window**.

^3D View Full|A full screen 3D view, used to preview your scene.|

^Default|The default layout used by Blender for new files. Useful for modeling new objects.|
^Game Logic|Planning and programming of games within Blender.|
^Motion Tracking|Used for motion tracking with the movie clip editor.|
Scripting|Documenting your work and/or writing custom scripts to automate Blender.|
^UV Editing|Flattening a projection of an object mesh in 2D to control how a texture maps to the surface.|
^Video Editing|Cutting and editing of animation sequences.|

^Clic sur le '+' du menu screen layout|ajouter un nouveau screen layout basé sur l'actuel|

^CTRL+U|mettre à jour le screen layout sur la base du screen layout actuel (attention les scènes ouvertes feront parties du screen layout !)|

Discarder les réglages de layout enregistrés avec le fichier à l'ouverture : décocher dans le browser la case **load UI**.

il est possible de faire file -> save startup file pour qu'un fichier soit chargé en lieu et place du fichier par défaut.

Animation of the Sketches

Use the Grease Pencil to do basic pencil tests (i.e. 2D animation in flipbook style). Sketches are stored on the frame that they were drawn on, as a separate drawing (only on the layer that they exist on).

==== Converting Sketches to Objects ====

conversion de l'entiereté des points donc potentielle nécessité de simplifier le sketch
conversion soit en Path (nurbs 3D curve of order 2) soit en courbe de bezier avec des points de contrôles 'libres', ou même en courbe d'animation
Pour convertir en mesh, d'abord convertir en path(nurbs) puis convertir la courbe en mesh

==== Ruler and Protractor ====

Here are common steps for using the ruler.

    Activate the Ruler from the toolshelf.
    Click and drag in the view-port to define the initial start/end point for the ruler.
    Orbit the view and click on either end of the ruler to re-position it. Holding Ctrl enables snap to elements.
    Click on the middle to measure angles.
    Press Return to store the ruler for later use or Esc to cancel.

^LMB|Drag end-points to place them, Hold Ctrl to snap, Hold Shift to measure thickness.|
